Over the past 7 years, this concept has grown to become a highly respected and beloved neighborhood restaurant. They have been working with an incredible restaurant design team over the past year and are excited to finally see their vision for the new space come to life.


They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to build, lead, and mentor a team of unique individuals. The ideal candidate will live and breathe hospitality and possess a keen eye for detail. You will oversee their restaurant's daily operations and lead a dedicated team of employees to ensure an unforgettable positive dining experience for their guests. The ideal candidate will become an integral part of their team and will benefit both personally and financially from the success that they help to achieve. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations.
  • Hiring of all FOH positions and oversight of all BOH positions.
  • Manage a team of front and back-of-house employees while promoting a healthy, positive dynamic fostering respect for each other.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve customer satisfaction and restaurant efficiency.
  • Create and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests, employees, and purveyors within the restaurant.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and purchasing of supplies.
  • Monitor and control expenses to meet budgetary requirements.
  • Lead P&L meetings with managers to achieve budgets.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Oversee catering and special events.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Manage the performance of team members and provide feedback to promote productivity, positive energy, and self-growth.


Experience:

  • Proven experience in a restaurant management role, with a strong background in hospitality management.
  • Knowledge and experience with all restaurant positions.
  • Experience with Toast POS and Resy reservation management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Experience with catering and special events.
  • Strong knowledge of bar operations, wine selection, purchasing, inventory, and standard operating procedures.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
